After a short period of time of establishment in Hong Kong, with the fast-growing reputation, the number of customers has grown rapidly including Clinic, Dentist, Insurance Companies, Medical Institutions, Private Enterprises all over Hong Kong, Kowloon and the New Territories. Our company provides a full range of diagnostic laboratory and imaging services to medical specialists and dentists with certified professional recognition, which include medical laboratory tests, Gastro-Intestinal Endoscopy, X-ray examination, Ultra-sound imaging, Dual source 256 and 384-slice CT imaging, Dental Imaging, CT cone-beam and 1.5T MRI services, etc.
Company and Development Background
EXACT Medical Laboratory & X-Ray Services was founded in 1991. It was originally located in Tung Ying Building, Tsim Sha Tsui. It was small but fully equipped with excellent medical laboratory and equipment. By now, our company have expanded many branches at different prime locations in Hong Kong. Our experienced team of professionals includes full expertise from the medical industry. Our company strives for perfection and innovations and is committed actively to participating in the medical quality inspection program to obtain annual certification. It has also pioneered medical imaging and laboratory services, such as the establishment of the EXACT Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and Diagnosis Center in 2004. In 2005, our company relocated the service center with most of expertise doctor to the current Hong Kong Pacific Center (HKPC) in Tsim Sha Tsui. In the following years, our company worked closely with the Sino Group and had successfully transformed the HKPC into a one-stop specialist medical building with talented people, comprehensive and diverse services, and constantly provide a variety of advanced inspection equipment on each floor of the HKPC. In 2010, our company officially renamed as EXACT Medical Group Limited.
In the same year, we introduced the latest Siemens dual source 256-slice CT scanner (SOMATOM Definition Dual Source CT)to our newly established EXACT CT Imaging Centre. In 2013, our company also established a new EXACT MRI & Diagnostic Centre with the introduction of the latest Magnetic Resonance Imaging machine (Siemens Magnetom AERA 1.5T). In late 2014, an Exact Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and Diagnosis Center was added to the list of our centers. A non-invasive and painless FibroScan has introduced in 2015, which enables an early diagnosis of liver cirrhosis and early stage of fatty liver disease of pathological changes. In order to meet the increasing demand, our company has been actively introducing the latest medical technology and pay attention to the patient waiting time and the environment of the examination center. Therefore, in 2017, we first set up an additional CT Scan Centre (Nathan 26) in Tsim Sha Tsui to shorten the waiting time of patients for CT scans and provide an additional center for doctors to choose from. In 2018, the EXACT Medical Laboratory & X-Ray has expanded to an examination center with a size of more than 3,000 square feet. In addition to the existing examinations, the latest 3D mammography and two new model of Philips ultrasound scanners had been introduced to provide a more diversified range of services. Our company strives to provide a better, more professional and more comfortable examination environment to all patients. In the same year, Endoscopy and Diagnostic Centers in HKPC and Mong Kok Centre also underwent expansion and relocation projects. It provides a larger and more comfortable environment with an introduction of the newly advanced Olympus Gastroscopy Equipment, facilitating the accuracy for doctors to diagnose patients. It provides better services to achieve our company Motto of "EXACT".
In the mid of 2021, the EXACT CT Imaging Centre (HKPC) introduced the Siemens' New Generation Dual source CT scanner, SOMATOM FORCE. In order to keep up with the times and meet the needs of our dentists, EXACT X-ray Medical Laboratory is going to introduce Cone Beam CT Scan in 2022 to provide more specialized and premium services at a reasonable price. In line with the health consciousness of the public and the Government's Colorectal Cancer Screening program, our company is going to upgrade the Endoscopy and Diagnostic Center in the HKPC in Tsim Sha Tsui in mid of 2022 to provide a better service environment with several newly installed Olympus EVIS X1 CV-1500 machines to shorten the appointment time for patients and provide a better post-operative rest area. In mid-2022, the clinic will be stationed in Tuen Mun with a new 4,000-square-foot examination center. The center is conveniently located, providing quick examination services especially for the patients in the Northwest New Territories. The new center will provide Dual Source 256-slice CT scanner, Ultrasound Imaging, 3D mammography, X-ray and Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, providing a more complete examination center for the public.

Our company actively introduces cutting-edge medical technology, with high-quality equipment from major manufacturers, such as SOMATOM FORCE, the latest generation of 384 CT dual source scanner. “EXACT” becomes the first private medical imaging centre (other than hospitals) in Hong Kong to introduce and own a higher level of computerized scanner. Not only does it overcome the impact of stents examination after Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (commonly known as PCI"), but also the image quality and scanning speed have been greatly improved, completely overcoming the problems caused by rapid heartbeat or the side effect of arrhythmia. The improvement of image clarity is more significant and is widely trusted and won a high admiration from cardiologists. The Siemens Magnetom Area 1.5 T MRI scanner provides fast and high-resolution imaging services. The spacious 70 cm wide bore offers a more comfortable environment to the patients and greatly reduces the fear of claustrophobia, while also catering to different body types. Other instruments are also available to the public at a lower cost with a higher and premium quality of service, in line with the company's mission.
